We’re excited to announce our upcoming Adventures in Marriage class, funded through the Federal Helping Every Area of Relationships Thrive (HEART) Grant at NO COST to you or your spouse.
This interactive experience is designed to strengthen communication, deepen connection, and equip couples with practical tools to navigate marriage with confidence and purpose. Each husband and wife will need to register individually.
Please note that your attendance is needed for all sessions.
Adventures in Marriage uses the latest research to provide specific, practical, attainable skills for a successful marriage. Come learn how to create the marriage you have always wanted with the spouse you already have!
Here are some of the benefits that couples experience:
- Recognize when communication styles are more of a problem than the actual problem at hand.
- Develop the ability to feel genuine empathy for your partner instead of secret resentment.
- Express yourself clearly so that your thoughts and feelings can be recognized and understood without causing your spouse to feel defensive, overwhelmed, manipulated or inadequate.
- Avoid assumptions and mind reading that often lead to misunderstandings between couples.
- Accept and express anger without destroying love.
- Constructively resolve issues at hand and feel closer to your spouse through the process.
- Acknowledge and enjoy the differences between you and your spouse.
- Understand what went wrong in the past and/or what is still going wrong now.
What to bring
- An open mind
- Your spouse or partner
